In order to increase bandwidth and provide for future scalability, we have just completed testing of a new dedicated fiber optic internet service. ISG has been in growth mode over the last few years. We have added many new hosting customers and have rolled out new products, such as our online data backup service. Adding new bandwidth to a network tends to be expensive and have long lead times. We chose to go with a scalable fiber optic connection to meet our current needs and allow us to "turn up the volume" incrementally as we grow.

Some of our customers are already seeing the benefit of the higher data rates. Soon, all customers will gain the benefit as we merge our existing lines with the new fiber connection. Once that is complete, not only will our entire network benefit from higher speeds, we'll also gain redundancy through BGP4 routing and automatic fail-over.
